This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior iOS Engineer, Storefronts in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to join a team focused on creating world-class browse and search experiences for millions of mobile users. This role offers the opportunity to design and implement innovative features in a consumer-facing iOS app while addressing architectural, performance, and scalability challenges. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and data science, guiding junior engineers and promoting best practices in code quality and mobile development. The position encourages creativity, prototyping, and continuous learning in a highly collaborative, remote-eligible environment. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience and drive the technical foundation of the mobile platform.

Accountabilities

• Design, prototype, and implement new iOS features for a large-scale consumer application.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data science teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
• Improve codebase quality and maintainability, advocating for mobile best practices.
• Solve architectural, performance, and scalability challenges in a fast-evolving codebase.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap and advise on feasibility and scope of complex product requirements.
• Conduct experiments and leverage data-informed approaches to iterate on features and enhancements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing consumer iOS applications at scale.
• Expertise with Swift, SwiftUI, and iOS application architecture.
• Strong understanding of app performance, scalability, and mobile best practices.
• Experience with media handling on iOS (e.g., video, images, animations).
• Passion for prototyping, motion design, and collaborating closely with product and design teams.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and improve team productivity through code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Flexible mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving priorities and contribute to new product experiences.
• Commitment to continuous learning and innovation in mobile technologies.
